Solby reserve was establishes in 1925 by initiative of Krasnoyask inhabitats for protection of outskirts of Rock pillars. Recenly area is 47154 h.
Rock climbing, also called here as "stolbism", is very popular. There are unique technique of climbing without rope. These days about 200 thousands visitors attend Krasnoyarsk Stolby .

from Railway station:
At first from station to bus stop "Agentstvo Aeroflota" by buses 6, 17, 37 or 56, then change to buses 19 or 30 to bus stop "Turbaza".
from Bus station:
go down to Aerovokzalnaya street, turn to the left to Partizana Zheleznyaka street. From bus stop "Medakademia" to "Turbaza" by bus 30.
From bus stop "Turbaza" about 7 km up to Rock Pillars.
Camping place for tent cost about 100r per week. Also there are number of lodgings.
